Washing Instructions

Always follow the care instructions which are shown on our Lou & Olly packaging and also on the products.

Blanket Care Instructions

Hand wash in lukewarm water using an approved wool detergent.  Do not machine wash.  Reduce spin.  Do not bleach or soak.  Dry flat in the shade.  Do not tumble dry.  Steam iron on wool setting.

Garment Care Instructions

Hand wash in warm water or machine wash on gentle wool cycle.  Use mil detergent.  Wash dark colours separately.  Do  not tumble dry.  Do not bleach or soak.  Dry flat in the shade.  Cool steam iron.

Caring for Wool

As our wool has not been treated with anti-shrinking or fixing agents please ensure you take extra care to follow the instructions when washing.

Piling

As or wool has not been treated with a synthetic coating, it may pill.  If pilling does occur, do not worry, this is a natural process where friction causes the short fibres to migrate to the surface.  Once removed these will disappear.
